TAU Rugby (u/7 & u/8):
Dive into the exciting world of TAU rugby with our enthusiastic young players! Our experienced coaches nurture a passion for the game from a tender age, focusing on fundamental skills and techniques. With three to four teams (A, B, C, and D Teams) per age group, there’s a spot for everyone! Practices and matches are structured to ensure equal playtime, fostering a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship. Join us on the field and be part of the TAU rugby legacy in the making!

Senior Rugby (u/9-u/13):
Get ready for a thrilling season of rugby! Running through the first and second terms, our teams compete in the prestigious Golden Lions Primary Schools Association, featuring in the Central Sub Super League. Led by dedicated coaches, players develop their skills, teamwork, and love for the game. Join us on the field and be part of our winning tradition!

Rugby Tours (u/9-u/13):
Our annual rugby tours are a highlight for our players!These tours, scheduled at the end of the first term during the March/April school holidays, offer a unique opportunity for our u/9-u/11 A teams to travel to Camp Discovery, while the 1st Team attends the prestigious Kobus Wiese tournament in Paarl. These tours not only enhance rugby skills but also teach invaluable lessons on teamwork and camaraderie. Parents are encouraged to budget for this exciting event, which strengthens our boys’ bond both on and off the field!

Game Time:
Our rugby program is committed to fair play and skill development. Annually, rigorous trials are conducted to select the best players for the A-Team. While not everyone can represent the A-Team, our B-Teams also receive expert coaching and attention to ensure all-round player development. Although B-Teams may receive less game time, each player is valued and nurtured to reach their full potential.

7’s Rugby (u/11-13):
Exciting Growth Ahead: Rugby is a cornerstone of our sports program, and we’re dedicated to its future growth. Boys in the u/11, u/12, and u/13 age groups participate in rugby during the third and fourth terms, honing their skills and sportsmanship. Annually, we eagerly anticipate participating in various tournaments, providing our players with invaluable competitive experience.
